Five Iranian born artists, Maryam Palizgir, Dana Nehdaran, Maryam Khosrovani, Aida Izadpanah and Massy Nasser Ghandi, together for the first time, invent new visual language built upon remembered and recently witnessed forms. Using porcelain, clay, iron, wire, gold, and linen canvas, their sculptures, constructions and paintings translate real objects and materials into sweeping portrayals of a not quite forgotten past while showing the possibilities of their present and future.
